Thanks for the update regarding the backup.

Regarding the Samba issue, we are trying to figure thisone out, but sofar unsuccessful, all our systems bring up samba as they should...
I am now investigating if this can be related to which version was originally installed on bubba.

In my case the samba issue was due to that the update changed the workgroup on my bubba to excito. When I changed it back to workgroup it worked. Don know why though

The workgroup on my bubba had also been changed to 'excito'
However, in my case changing this to anything else does not fix the Samba problem.

In my case the workgroup was the same after the update as it was before.
When it comes to what version of the firmware I had before the upgrade I'm not really sure. Either 1.2.3 or 1.2.4

When I finally decided to update to the latest release things didn't go that well.
The upgrade was almost finished when it stalled and just wouldn't continue.
When I try to start the update again I pretty soon get the following message "Failures found in package (dpkg) database, unable to continue with upgrade."
Any suggestions on how to get things back in order again?
My Bubba2 seems to be working fine otherwise, it's just that i don't dare to reboot it and obviously cant do the upgrade.

It was definitely the "Horde issue" that was the problem.
Strangely enough Bubba reports version 1.2.4 under the home tab even though I was able to finish the upgrade and the Current package versions is as follows:

bubba-frontend 1.3.1
bubba-backend 1.3.3
bubba-album 1.3.0
filetransferdaemon 0.50.19+b3
squeezecenter 7.4.1.dfsg1-6V

Same here, upgrade to 1.3.1 Samba does not start automatically after reboot.

I have a new bubba server and it came with the current upgrade, received it three weeks ago.

It does not start Samba on boot, has to be started manually.

I run as a Router - Firewall - Server

Strange, Download continued working for me after the upgrade to 1.3.0.
Important to notice that a further upgrade to 2.0 improved the Download stability significantly.
