how to start sshd in bubba ?

our bubba is working fine excepting sshd is no longer running how can we get it running again as we can't access bubba via terminal.

Sadly this is a catch 22; The only two alternatives is 1: access the bubba via seriel cable, and 2: use the rescue disk to telenet to the bubba.
